If you haven't heard of Joomla, here's the basic jist:

Joomla is a type of open-source, database-driven CMS (Content Management System ). CMS sites are those in which the user can log in and easily edit text, upload pictures, add news items, blog, add events -- all without having to know HTML. You've probably already used a CMS site numerous times before (paying bills online, using online calendars, uploading pictures to a printing service, online banking, etc) so we know you're already an expert.

Now, when we say that "users" can log in and easily edit text, upload pictures, etc, we're talking about you! Well, you and some other people too, such as:
